A young boy who was already confused has been traumatized by the suicide of the teacher’s assistant with whom he had a sexual relationship.
According to reports Jennilynne (above) was taken into custody on July 15th after being accused of having a relationship with a 14 year-old student at her Pennsylvania school.
According to the Buck’s County District Attorney’s Office, the 38-year old was charged with felony counts for involuntary sexual intercourse, sexual assault, statutory sexual assault and unlawful contact with minors. He also faces misdemeanor counts for indecent assault and corrupting minors.

Falls Township Police Department received a phone call from the grandmother of the boy two days before his arrest. She claimed that her grandson was in a sexual relationship at Valley Day School with his teacher’s assistant. The alleged victim claimed that he and his aide began texting discreetly via a messaging app.
He claimed that their relationship grew and they started meeting at Falls Township Park. Their meetings “became romantic” around June. The boy claimed that he had sex with the aide three times in July. He said it twice in the vicinity of the Levittown Lake in Tullytown, and once near a Bristol Township baseball field.
Derolf was taken into custody and placed on $900,000. bond at Bucks County Correctional Facility. Derolf was immediately removed from her school, which is a private school for students with “histories in acute learning, adjustment behavioral and/or emotional need,” according to its website. She was not allowed to enter the school or have contact students.
Matt Weintraub, District Attorney, stated at the time:
“The conduct of the defendant is not only criminal, but also reprehensible. She not only violated the trust in student teacher relationships, but also the trust that children should have in adults in authority. She will be held responsible for her criminal acts.”
The aide was released on bail July 23 and was due to appear at her preliminary hearing October. Tragically, however, she had other plans.
The boy’s family called the police on August 22 to request a welfare check. They learned that Derolf had secretly contacted the boy again and made arrangements to meet with him.
Derolf, who was closing in on the meeting, pulled out a gun, and shot herself in the face right in front the boy’s eyes as officers approached. Police Chief Nelson Whitney stated:
“Derolf killed himself with a firearm after the police arrived.”
The investigation into the case is ongoing. Although the boy was not hurt, he will likely be scarred for his entire life after witnessing such a disturbing sight.
