Sadie Robertson Claps Back At Fan For Unfollowing Her Over Postpartum Body Pics!

By August 25, 2021No Comments

Sadie Robertson is so body positive these days, that some of her fans are getting sick of it!
The 24-year-old spent a lot of the year posting pictures of her baby bump and talking about the joys associated with pregnancy online. Now that Honey James is her first child, her selfies have started to get her some heat.
After posing in the jeans she wore before she became pregnant (inset), Duck Dynasty alumna took a moment to talk about why she is so proud of her body and why a fan decided to unfollow her.

The caption shows Christian Huff’s wife thinking:
“I don’t read my DMs very often, but I did so recently. The first DM I received was from a mom who felt that I should be aware that her daughters were not following me. It’s fine to unfollow me. But it was the WHY that got me.
Why? Sadie explained that the momma was jealous AF.
“She continued to say that it was because of how much she brags & flaunts my body & how difficult it was for me to see my body’s ‘bounce back.’
The reality star was upset by the reasoning and gave her response.
“I was thinking about what I could have told her to tell her that I didn’t ‘bounce back’ how you perceive me outwardly. I could tell her about the parts of me that aren’t yet healed. I could tell her about the bumps I have on half my body from birth due to a new allergy that was triggered by a stressful delivery. I could have told her what my doctor told me and how the counselor who helped me through it all. I could have told her about the many things I don’t tell people, but I didn’t.”
The Live Original author continued, urging us to keep our eyes on the positive.
“I didn’t tell her that and I don’t post stuff like this bc the truth of my year, my days and certainly my life, are not defined by what my body experiences. I post mostly the positive. Does this mean I am bragging? This is not my intention. “I feel like we have more and better things to talk about.”
These things include her faith, being the best version possible of herself, and “growing life.”
“I believe that those things are more helpful than the bumps, the jeans that don’t fit, the workouts I can not do, and so forth.”
She doesn’t hide any of her bad moments. In a candid YouTube video, the A&E personality recently spoke out about her “really dangerous” labor experience. You can watch it HERE. She doesn’t always post the bad stuff in her life. It’s her IG, after all. She gets to choose what we see!

After the thought-provoking rant, she added an important message to all her female fans:
“Ladies, I want to challenge your confidence not to be insecure because of what someone else posts. Our confidence should not be based on how well or poorly someone else is doing.
This is a great point! Ch-ch-check her complete message and the postpartum photos (below).
