Mommy-shamers, not today!
Jade Roper took to Twitter this week to respond to critics about the Bachelor in Paradise vet posting adorable snaps of Emerson doing her makeup.
The starlet shared the inciting photos on Instagram Stories over the weekend. They showed the starlet putting on lip gloss and eyeshadow from her mom’s makeup collection. Jade captioned a snap of her daughter after a makeover:
“She wanted to get ready for me.”
Many people gushed over the cute images (below), but some IG users felt the need warn Jade that she might not be sending the right message to her 4-year old.

“I respect your decision, but reminding her to wear makeup may subconsciously tell them she needs it because she isn’t beautiful enough”
Jade was not patient with the armchair psychologist. She wrote back:
The reality star posted a longer response to her IG Stories. She shared a screenshot of the exchange and wrote:
“Maybe we should all just become robots with zero emotions, zero interest or curiosities, and have zero fun.”
Seriously! Jade should be aware that every celeb momma post has a pooper.

The 34-year old shares Emerson with Tanner Tolbert, her husband. They were engaged in 2016 when Tanner proposed to her on Bachelor In Paradise. They also have two sons Brooks, a 1-year-old, and Reed Harrison, a 9-month-old.
Jade had a terrible experience giving birth to Brooks, as fans are well aware. She went into labor early and welcomed Brooks in her bedroom closet. This left her with PTSD for nearly a year. In a recent interview, she explained to Today:
“From the moment I went into labor, right up until the time I became pregnant with my second son, Reed, I was suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder… I had such a rapid labor that I thought something was wrong. I thought he was going mad. I thought I was going mad.”
It’s so scary!
“And so, after that experience I would have flashbacks. We were not safe. I would experience dizziness that was almost vertigo-like, and it would come out of nowhere. I would have intrusive thoughts, which were not healthy. It was intense for me.”
Jade admitted that she didn’t feel connected to her son immediately and stopped taking care of herself. She eventually began hypnotherapy treatment and was pregnant again five and a quarter months later. Jade was able to feel happier after the hormonal changes. She made sure to ask for more help whenever she needed it.
This momma deserves to have fun with her daughter, without being judged by others.
